Chen Baiyi  陈白一 was born in an intellectual family, in Chaoyang, in South-West

of Hunan Province  China.

His father and uncle were calligraphers and his grandfather was poet.

He devoted himself to the Art of painting, very early.

After studying in Hunan, he taught for several years.

His Art combines traditional Chinese techniques, folk Art and the use of light

and color borrowed from Western paintings.

numerous exhibitons National and International in Southeast Asia, Japan, America  

and Europe.
