Gao Ling 高灵 was born in Jiangsu Province located along the East coast of China. |

Her interdisciplinary approach to Art ( photography, installation and performance ), |
|
|
defies any categorization. |
|
|
2007 |
She worked during two years as design and photography assistant to the conceptual |
|
artists : Wu Shanzhuan and Icelandic artist Inga Svala Thorsdottir. |
|
|
2008 |
She founded the Ling & Comma group , with the American Chinese artist W.Ho, |
|
and together they investigated issues of female identity. |
|
|
2009 |
Invited by Kontemporar Gallery, Hamburg, as a visit artist and photographer, |
|
to program Berlin, she joined project " public research " by presenting |
|
|
Let out a Yawn. |
|
|
2012 |
She participated in the protestat project Occupy Shanghai Subway: It's A Dress, Not A Yes. |
|
2013 |
She won the Wing Master awards with Big Mist, project about air pollution. |
|
Now, she is living and working in Shanghai China. |
