ATELIER Z+ was created by Zhang Bin 张斌 and her wife and partner Zhou Wei 周蔚 .

Zhang Bin 张斌 was born in Shanghai  China.

He studied at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University.

1992

1995

He worked as assistant on Architecture College of Architecture and Urban Planning,

Tongji University.

1999-2000

He benefited from the exchange program 150 Chinese Architects in France, to come

study in France, École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Paris-Villemin.

He did an internship at Architecture-Studio.

1972

Zhou Wei 周蔚 was born in Shanghai  China.

She studied at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University.

1996

She worked as assistant on China State Construction Engineering Co and as

architect at Joseph Wang Design Associates Shanghai.

2002

She joined ATELIER Z+, as a Principal architect.

Link with the 80s building - a staircase leads from the 1st floor to the six upper levels.

- on the ground floor, a reception area with bookshop and cafeteria

- in the basement, lit by a glass roof, exhibition rooms that can be adapted to various

activities.

Combination of modern lifestyle and traditional housing methods.

2006-2007

- Xiayang Qianxi Business Centre China

Team - Lu Jun - Zhang Huiying

An 8-storey building to the south and a 3-storey community center to the North,

connected to a three-storey lobby. Ramps connect the gallery, the auditorium

and various rooms.
