Chen Yu 陈余 was born in Ziyun, in Guizhou Province, China.

He was the second child of a family of three. |

|
| |
Yu Chen, his sister, Chen Yu and his younger brother Chen Li, all are artists. |

|
|
1993
|
He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts ( engraving department ). |
|
|
|
|
|
After working in the Publishing, he decided to create his own works. |
| |
|
|
|
Influenced by the Art of Engraving, in all paintings, he duplicated characters
|
| |
with the same expression, except for one of them . |
