Feng Guodong 冯国东was born on February 3, in Hebei Province China.

His family was native of Panyuxian, in Guangdong Province.

He studied painting while working in a textile factory.

He participated in one of the first independent exhibitions : News Spring Art |

|
and the First and second exhibition of the Oil painting Research Association in Beijing. |

Engaged, he wrote an article, in defense of the new movments and began his series |

of abstract oil and ink paintings. |

He took part to China / Avant-Garde exhibition , at The National Art Museum of China. |
