Chan Kin-chung 陳建中 pinyin Chen Jianzhong

1939

Chan Kin-chung    陳建中  was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province,

South-East China..

1955

He joined the High School of the Fine Arts Central Academy of the South,

for artistic training.

1961

He graduated from Academy of Arts in Guangzhou.

1962

He left Chinese mainland for Hong Kong. 

1969

He went to France to pursue his studies. He moved to Paris in September.

1970

He entered the Superior Fine Arts School in Paris for four years of study.

1974

He met Zao Wou-Ki 赵无极 and they both became friends.

1975

Thanks to a competition of the french Ministry of Culture, he could  individual exhibit

for the first time in Paris and became a professional painter.

After his series of old windows, rusty railings and doors, he painted landscapes.

His works are in the Museums of Europa and China.

He lives in Paris  France, Guangzhou and Shenzhen  China.
