Zhao Gang

赵刚



1961	Zhao Gang was born in Beijing, China.

1978	He studied mural painting at C.A.F.A. in Beijing.

1979	He became a member of the Xingxing Stars group, First movement of artists
	made of poets, musicians, painters and scupltors who originated the development
	of the Chinese Contemporary Art.

1983	He left to study aboard, in Holland, Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design,
	then in United States, at Vassar College in New York where he obtained a master's degree

	He became an American citizen.

	He lives and works in United States and in Beijing China.

	* The main members of the Stars group were Huang Rui, Ma Desheng, Wang Keping, Yan Li,
	Qu Leilei, Mao Lizi, Bo Yun, Zhong Acheng, Yang Yiping, Ai Weiwei et Li Shuang.
