1963

Shutao Liao  廖树陶 was born in Sichuan province, China. .

1981

He studied at Fine Arts College of Sichuan.

1984

He worked for four years as an art teacher at Fu Xi Professional School, ,

Zigong city, Sichuan province.

1989

After his Master's degree, he finished an art thesis on the phenomenon of Vincent

Van Gogh, the eastern and western culture.

He worked as an art teacher at Jimey University's Institute of Art

1995

He was chosen as one of The 113 Outstanding Across The Century Experts.

1998

He received Gold Award at Fujian Province Art Festival.

He was invited for a year at The faculty of Art and Design, University of Ulster,

as a research fellow.

1999

On January 8th he held a lecture: A Cultural Journey To Chinese Art at The Queens  

College of Belfast, United kingdom.

On January 28th, art works were reviewed by British newspaper Newtownnards

He received the Award  TwoThousand Outstanding Artists and Designers of 20th Century

by Cambridge   United Kingdom..

Since 1999, he lives and works in Queens, New York  United States.
