Yan Shanchun 严善錞 was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province China.

He graduated from the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, the current Academy

of Arts in China. ( engraving department )

|
|
1993
|
He moved to Shenzhen and gave up painting for a time to work at the Institute
|
| |
of Fine Arts.
|
| |
|
|
2003
|
He was Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Painting Academy and Academic Director
|
|
|
of the Shenzhen Ink Painting Biennial.
|
| |
|
|
|
He lives and works in Hangzhou China. |
