Leung Mee Ping 梁美萍 was born in Hong Kong.

She moved to France and studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts

de Paris.

She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. |

1991

She won the Rocheron Prize, with her installation composed of thousands of tea bags

sewn together.

Back in Hong Kong, she held her first solo exhibition at the FrInge Club.

She was one of the founding members of the Para Site space.

She went to the United States and continued her studies.

She graduated with a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the California Institute.

She obtained a PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
