Chen Chuanxing 陈传兴 was born in Taipei, Taiwan.
|

|
|
- Passionate about photography since high school, he traveled extensively
|
| |
through Taiwan, to bring back many pictures.
|
| |
|
|
1976

He moved to study in France. |
| |
|
|
1977
|
He was admitted to the National School of Decorative Arts.
|

- Graduated with a Doctorate in Linguistics from the École des Hautes Études,
|
|
|
in Social Sciences France, he wrote several books ( philosophy - psychoanalysis )
|
| |
and taught at Tsinghua University until his retirement.

He received the Medal of Arts and Letters, for his contribution to cultural exchanges.
|
|
|
|
| |
- Attracted by cinema, he shot two films and a documentary :
|
|
2020
|
This one, The Moon in Hand was selected at the Shanghai Festival, won
|
| |
the Golden gobelet award.and was screen at the Beijing Film Festival. |
