Chen Cheng-Hsiung  陳正雄 was born in Taipei  Taiwan.

   
 

He learned from painters Lee Shih-Chiao, Liao Chi-Chun, Chin Jun-Tso, and created

 

his first works.

   

1958

His foreign language skills allowed him to study books, abstract Art theory,

 

and gradually created his own style.

   
 

Very active, he exhibited his works in Taiwan, Japan, the United States and France.

   
1999 - 2001

Twice he received the Lorenzo Le Magnifique Prize and the Prize for his entire career

 

at the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence.

   
 

A Master of international renown, he is always on the lookout for innovative

 

techniques.

   

2014

He was one of the six winners of the 6th National Prize for the Arts of the National

 

Foundation  of Arts and Culture of Taiwan.
