Szeto Keung ( 1948-2011 ) was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, in China.
|
|
|
He grew up in Hong Kong and studied ink painting with Lingnan School painter
|
| |
Yang Shanshen.
|
| |
|
|
1969
|
He moved to study Art in Taiwan.
|
| |
|
|
1973
|
Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art from the Taiwan Normal University, |
|
|
he continued his studies in United States. |
|
|
His oil and acrylic paintings started to be hyper realists. |
| |
|
|
1979
|
He obtained his Master's degree in Art from Pratt Institute, in Brooklin. |
| |
He used various media, to express his emotions. |
| |
|
|
1983
|
He continued his training at National Taiwan Normal University, then worked
|
| |
mainly in New York. |
| |
|
|
|
Since then, he held various exhibitions in New York, Taipei and in Hong Kong. |
|
|
|
|
2011
|
He died of a heart attack, on September 5, in New York, at the age of 63. |
