Liu Dawei  刘大为 was born in Zhucheng, Shandong Province  China

1968

He graduated from the Normal University of Inner Mongolia. ( Fine Arts department )

1980

He entered the Central Academy of Fine Arts ( Chinese painting department )

He studied with Ye Qianyu, Jiang Zhaohe, Li Keran 李可染,  Wu Zuoren 吴作人 and  Wang Zho;

His paintings mainly represent the minorities living in the North West of China

and some major historical issues.

He exhibited in China, France, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Taïwan

and the United States.

He lives and works in Beijing  China.
