1942

Jiang Baolin 姜宝林 was born on December 31 in Pingdu, Shandong Province, China.

1962

He entered the Zhejiang Institute of Fine Arts in Hangzhou.

He was the pupil of Pan Tianshou 潘天寿, great master of Chinese painting.

1967

He graduated in traditional Chinese painting.

1979

He joined the Central Institute of Fine Arts, and studied under the aegis of Li Keran 李可染

and Lu Yanshao.

1981

He obtained his Master's degree.

He held his first solo exhibitions : in Paris, Gallery C.T. LOO & Cie ( 1991 )

in Kao-hsiung, Taiwan ( 1993 ), in Hong Kong ( 1994 ).

1994

He taught as Professor at the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts.

He lives and works in Hangzhou China.

Numerous exhibitions in China and Hong Kong, as well as United States, Monaco and Paris.
