1983

Guo Yingguang  郭盈光 was born in Liaoning Province, in North-East of China.

   
  After Elementary School, she moved to Beijing, with her family.
   

 

She studied photography at the Communication University of China.

2007

Graduated with a Bachelor' degree, she worked as a photojournalist for :

 

China Daily and Global Times while collaborating with Reuters Agency.

   

2015

After the photo reportage, she turned to art photography and she moved to study

  in L.C.C. ( London College of Communication )
 

Her works revolve around social problems in contemporary China : women to marry,  

 

arranged marriages.

   

2017

She graduated with a Master's degree, with honours, from the University of Arts
  in London.
   
 

Her work Bliss of Conformity, was nominated at the Discovery Award of the International

 

Photography Festival Jimei x Arles and she won the Jimei x Arles - Madame Figaro Women

 

Photographers Award.
