Franklin Chow was born in Shanghai, in a family of well-known artists.

He studied in catholic schools, and he learnt very young, the ink painting of China.

He was interested in Western culture through the antiquities of his father, great collector.

Admitted to the Grand Cottage Academy in Paris, he discovered the current of lyric

abstraction.

He trained at the cinema, in the Shepperton studios, in London.

He worked on many film productions .

He moved to Geneva, Switzerland, and married the artist Doris Pache. |

He worked as an art director for large companies, and co-founded the advertising

agency Chow Lang & Partners, acquired by Saatchi & Saatchi.

He started painting again.

He installed his studio in Sainte-Croix in the Swiss Jura.

The same year, he published Faded Images : 22 drawings with braille text. |
