1941

Dennis Hwang  黄志超 was born in Hunan Province, China.

   

1950

He went to live in Taiwan.

   

1971

He was invited to participate in an exhibition of cultural exchanges in the United States.  

   

1972

He moved to New York and studied at the Pratt Institute.

   
 

His brightly colored painting is influenced by the New York School, and artists as  :

 

Walasse Ting and Pierre Alechinsky, Karel Appel, the artists of the avant-garde movement.

   
 

After many years in New York, he returned to Taiwan.

 

 

  He lives and works in Taipei  Taiwan.
