Li Baolin 李宝林 was born on August 24, in Siping, Jilin Province China.

1958
|
He studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, under the guidance

of Li Keran ( 1907- 1989 ) and Ye Qianyu (1907-1995 ) |
|
|
1963
|
Graduated ( Chinese Painting department ), he joined the army in South China,
|
|
as a painter of the Navy.
|
|
|
1990
|
He joined the Chinese Institute as a full-time painter and head of the Creative
|
|
and Reasearch Department. |
|
|
|
He held numerous exhibitions and participated in international cultural exchanges
|
|
between Italy, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan.
|
|
|
1998
|
Commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, to paint, a huge painting commemorating
|
|
the first anniversary of Hong Kong's return, he created : Splendid China.
|
|

He received a special allowance from the government for his contribution as a National
