Du Dakai   杜大愷 was born on August 18, in Henan Province  China.

His family is native of Shandong Province.

1978

He entered the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts in Beijing.

He studied under the guidance of Zhu Danian

1980

He graduated from the Department of Graduate Studies and began teaching.

He is currently Professor at the Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts and Editor

in Chief of Tsinghua Art.
