Famous educator, painter and calligrapher, he specialized in painting flowers and

birds. His roosters series made him famous worldwide.

He exhibited in China, at the Jiangsu Museum of Art and the following year at the Shanghai,

Art Museum, as well as abroad in United States, at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco
|
|
and in Japan. ( 1988 ) |

He died on June 1st, at the age of 89, in Nanjing, where he retired.
