彭禹和孙原  pinyin  Peng Yu he Sun Yuan

Sun Yuan & Peng Yu  彭禹和孙原 are two friends.

1972

Sun Yuan was born in Beijing, China.

1974

Peng Yu was born in Jiamusi, in Helongjiang Province, in NorthEast of China.

Graduated from the from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, ( oil painting department ),

4th studio, in 1995 for one, and ( oil painting department ) 3rd studio, in 1998, for the

other, they became independent artists.

2000

They decided to work together and to present,  hyper-realistic sculptural installations

under the name : Sun Yuan & Peng Yu..

2001

They won the Chinese Contemporary Art Awards ( C.C.A.A. )

2005

They took part to the 51st Venice Biennial..
