Chen Wei 陈维 naît dans la province du Zhejiang , en Chine.

Il s'intéresse à la musique expérimentale puis se tourne vers la photographie.

2002

Il est diplômé de l'Institut des médias du Zhejiang.

Ses photographies avec des mises en scènes entre réalité et cinéma le rendent célèbre.

Il produit de nombreux projets pour les magazines d'Art et de mode FHM et LEAP.

2011

Il reçoit le 1° prix de la photographie Asie Pacifique à la Foire d'Art Contemporain

de Shanghai.

Il vit et travaille à Beijing Chine.
